The Formative Ecology Education Sub-component accessed provincial support on toys for preschoolers. These toys are tools for the development of the learning competencies of the children.

On-going capability building is conducted by GITIB, Inc. for the community of Mitugas-Tudela, San Lorenzo Ruiz (Labag)-Sinacaban and San Apolinario-Tangub City and for the people’s organization of Mitugas Subanen Farmers Organization (MSFO), Kahugpungan sa mga Mag-uuma sa Mitugas (KAMAMI), San Lorenzo Ruiz Subanen Farmers Organization (SALORUSFAO) and San Apolinario Fisherfolks Association (SAFIA) for this year. To wit, Healthful Living Ecology Seminar is now conducted at Mitugas, Tudela, Misamis Occidental. This seminar is promoting alternative and herbal medicines.

 

II. SCEED PROJECT

Two new Subanen Ecology Education Centers were established at Pamakaran and Namut of Tudela Municipality. The classes are now conducted at the new established SCEE centers after performing the Subanen ritual. The Subanen ritual is about to request guidance from “Gambabaja” against danger from the unseen spirits that surround the center and protection of children from danger.

 

 

The children’s dormitory is now under construction.
